School shooting in America, 4 dead: dead two teachers-two children, more than 9 injured; The 14-year-old attacker was caught

There has been a shooting incident at Apalachi High School in Georgia, USA. 4 people were killed in the attack. At the same time, 9 people were injured. The injured have been admitted to a local hospital. The incident took place on Wednesday at 8 pm Indian time. Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy, who is a student there, in connection with the murder. The incident took place at a school in the town of Winder, 70 km from the capital Atlanta. The assailant surrendered and slept on the ground when the police reached the spot on receiving information about the incident. According to CNN, 2 teachers and 2 students were among those killed in the incident. Photos and videos related to this incident went viral on social media. The attacker, who threatened a mass shooting last year, has been identified as Colt Gray, according to the BCC. He will now be tried as an adult. The police were also suspicious about the activities of the attacker earlier. In May last year, the FBI questioned Colt's family. He then threatened mass shootings on social media. However, he was not arrested then. Colt's father then argued that he had a hunting gun that he always kept under watch. According to news agency AP, there have been 30 mass shootings so far in 2024. Out of which 131 people have died. A mass shooting refers to an incident in which four or more people are killed within a 24-hour period. This does not include the murderer. In 2023, there were 42 incidents of mass shootings in which 217 people died. In this regard, last year was the worst year in American history. All District Schools Closed Authorities have closed all schools in the Barry County district. As a precautionary measure, police arrangements have been made in all high schools of the district. Georgia Governor Said – Pray for People's Safety Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has asked state agencies to provide immediate relief. “I urge all residents of Georgia to join my family in praying for the safety of those attending the school,” he posted on Twitter.
