Putin will go to Mongolia, the question will be arrested?: International Court ordered action, Russia said – we are not worried

Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to visit Mongolia on September 3. Meanwhile, the International Criminal Court (ICC) has said that if Putin goes to Mongolia, the authorities there are responsible for arresting him. Court spokesperson Dr. Fadi al-Abdallah told the BBC that it was Mongolia's duty to comply with ICC orders. He should cooperate in this. Mongolia is a member of the ICC. In March last year, the ICC issued an arrest warrant against Putin. The court held that Putin was responsible for war crimes. This was the first time that the ICC had issued an arrest warrant against the top leader of a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). Russia has called the ICC's issuance of a warrant in Putin's name 'shameful'. The United States, Russia, China, Britain and France are permanent members of the UNSC. Mongolia Between Russia and China, Ukraine has also demanded that Putin be arrested if he visits Mongolia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said on Friday – We hope that Mongolia is aware that Putin is a war criminal and that the ICC has issued an arrest warrant against him. This will be the Russian president's first visit to an ICC member state since the warrant was issued. Putin has visited 11 countries since the warrant was issued. This includes countries like China, North Korea, Saudi Arabia and UAE. However, he has so far avoided traveling to any ICC member country. Russia denies the allegations against Putin. Asked about the arrests in Mongolia, the Kremlin's presidential office said it had 'no concerns' about Putin's visit, according to news agency AFP. However, we have taken all precautions in preparation for the President's visit. What happens if the order is not followed? According to the report, if Mongolia does not comply with the ICC order, the court cannot do anything about it. However, ICC spokesperson Dr. Abdallah says that if any member state refuses to comply with the order, the ICC will monitor it. It will be discussed during the meeting of member states. Appropriate action will be taken after this. The ICC does not have the power to arrest anyone and relies on its member states to carry out its orders. Many big countries including India, China, Turkey, Pakistan, Russia are not members of ICC, so they do not follow its orders. Putin will be arrested in Mongolia? It is possible that some countries may also impose economic sanctions on it in the future. According to the report, if Putin goes to Mongolia, it will not be the first time that the ICC order will be violated.
