PM Modi has gone on the invitation of Sultan Haji Hassan Al-Bolkia of Brunei. He will meet the Sultan today. The meeting will be held in the world's largest palace 'Istana Nurul Iman'. Bilateral talks between India and Brunei will also take place after this. PM Modi will leave for Singapore today. These issues may be discussed during the bilateral talks between India and Brunei on liquefied natural gas (LNG), investment and defense cooperation between the two countries. India is importing hydrocarbons from Brunei and trying to increase natural gas supply. India has invested 270 million dollars in Brunei's hydrocarbon sector. This can be further increased to meet the natural gas requirements. Apart from this, efforts to increase mutual cooperation between the two countries on space technology and health will also be discussed. India will discuss the situation in Myanmar.
