Passenger van attack in Pakistan, 38 dead: Attackers open fire in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; Second attack in two days

A passenger van was fired upon in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Thursday. In which 38 people died. Many people are injured. The incident took place in the Kurram Valley of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The van was going from Peshawar to Kurram.

Earlier on Tuesday night, there was a suicide attack on an army post in Bannu district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. 12 Pakistani soldiers were killed in this attack. Six terrorists were also killed there.

Giving information, the media wing of the Pakistan Army said that the terrorists rammed the vehicle against the wall of the check post and detonated the explosives kept in it. 12 jawans were martyred in the blast. Army also killed 6 terrorists in retaliatory action.

Five days ago there was an attack in Balochistan On November 16, an army post was attacked in Pakistan's western province of Balochistan. 7 soldiers of Pakistani security forces were martyred in this attack. The militant Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attack. News agency AFP quoted a local person as saying that 40 to 50 Baloch insurgents were involved in the attack.

Meanwhile, Baloch insurgents opened fire on the army post. Apart from the death of 7 jawans, 15 jawans have also been injured in this attack.

26 people were killed in the attack on Quetta railway station A blast took place at Pakistan's Quetta railway station on Saturday morning, November 9. 26 people were killed in this blast, while more than 50 people were injured. Terrorist group Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) also claimed responsibility for the attack.

The BLA spokesperson said that the suicide attack was carried out by the Majid Brigade unit. Their targets were soldiers from the Infantry School, who were about to go to Peshawar by the Jafar Express after completing the course. Quetta Civil Hospital spokesman Waseem Baig told Pakistani newspaper The Dawn that the dead included 14 army personnel and 12 civilians.
