Pakistan under siege: 400 Chinese engineers leave Pakistan, stop work on 8 major development projects

About 250 Chinese engineers from Balochistan and 150 engineers from Gilgit-Baltistan are leaving for China from Karachi and Islamabad International Airport respectively. The reason for the Chinese engineers to leave Pakistan is that CPEC has stopped work on 8 projects related to power, infrastructure, including the Balochistan region.

Now, after the Karachi attack, the SCO summit has dashed the hopes of reaping investments of around 2 lakh crore rupees from China, Iran, Russia and Kazakhstan. Let it be known that the Chinese embassy has summoned the interior secretary of Pakistan in Islamabad and reprimanded it.
