Musk's DOGE department releases vacancies: High IQ, seeking people who work more than 80 hours a week; Will not get salary

Tesla chief Elon Musk and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy have announced recruitment for the US government's new DoGE (Department of Government Efficiency) division. This information is provided on social media X.

In a post from DoGE's official X handle, they are looking for people who have super high IQ. They are looking for people who can work more than 80 hours a week. If one has these qualities then he/she can send his/her resume in the message of DoGE.

However, only those who have X's verified account can send messages to DoGE. Its price in America is 8 dollars (675 rupees) per month. Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will review the top 1% of candidates who send CVs.

Ramaswamy said – this is not a job like a government job The post does not mention what experience an applicant should have for a job in DoGE. However, Musk has also said that no salary will be given for this work.

Musk wrote-

There will be no pay for this work. This will be a tedious job, and you will make many enemies. And you won't get any money for this either. Musk said these unpaid positions “will help America tremendously.”

Vivek Ramaswamy said, this job is not like a government job where people do little or no work. In this people will not be able to earn money through corruption.

After winning the election for the second time, Donald Trump has launched this department to eliminate government bureaucracy and save government money. Trump said the DoGE department will operate until July 4, 2026. This new system will create panic among those who squander government money.

The DoGE department will advise the government from outside. Trump has given the responsibility of DoGE to two big businessmen Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.

Musk said – the government will save 2 trillion dollars with the new department Trump proposed the creation of the DoGE in early September. Earlier in August, he said he would consider giving Musk a cabinet post or an advisory role in his administration if he were to become president.

Musk called the project 'America's last chance' on social media. He claimed that the country would go bankrupt without it. He claimed that the New York Metropolitan spent Rs 6.5 crore on fire alarms.

Musk also alleged that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases had 'spent over Rs 4 crore on HIV research in transgender monkeys. This is wasteful spending.

Musk said that the performance of DoGE will be posted online to bring transparency in the system. Information will be given separately on what foolish schemes public tax money is being spent on.

About the DoGE, Musk said, he would be able to reduce government spending by at least $2 trillion (168 lakh crore) through the new department. However, some experts are calling it impossible. According to the Washington Post, Musk can only do this if he cuts the defense budget or important programs like Social Security.
