The three officer brothers came to Kulachi Tehsil on Tuesday itself. TTP Claims Responsibility According to a Dawn report, Kulachi police have confirmed the incident. However, Pakistan Army has neither confirmed nor denied it. The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for the abduction of a Pakistani officer and his brother and nephew. TTP said in a message to Mashal Radio that the abductees have been kept in safe places. He did not give the reason for abducting the army officer. The terrorist organization said that they will provide more information on this soon. The Pakistani army launched an operation against the TTP in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa last week. In which 25 terrorists including a top terrorist commander were killed. In which four soldiers of Pakistan Army were also killed. Some reports have expressed fears that the TTP may have abducted the army officer in retaliation. What is TTP? In 2007 several terrorist groups came together and formed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. TTP is also called Pakistan Taliban. TTP was banned by the government of Pakistan in August 2008. When the US military ousted the Taliban from power in Afghanistan in October 2001, many militants fled and settled in Pakistan. After this, the Pakistani army started an operation against these terrorists. Meanwhile, Pakistan Army freed Islamabad's Red Masjid from the hold of fundamentalist propagandist militants. After this incident, the opposition of Pakistan army started in Swat valley. Due to this, many rebel groups started to grow in the tribal areas. After this, in December 2007, 13 groups led by Betullah Mehsud decided to join a movement. The name of this organization was Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan. It was the TTP that attacked Malala Yousafzai Since 2009, the Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility for many dangerous attacks. These include attacks on the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad in 2008 and the army headquarters in 2009. In 2012, TTP also attacked Malala Yousafzai. TTP shot Malala in the head. The TTP called Malala Yousafzai a 'western-minded girl'. After this, TTP also fired at an army school in Peshawar in 2014. At least 150 people, including 131 children, were killed in the attack. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan is considered to be the most dangerous of all the terrorist organizations that exist in Pakistan, the so-called factory of terrorism. The special thing is that this organization has thousands of supporters in the Pakistan Army and this is the biggest threat to Pakistan.
