Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannu said in an interview to Canadian news channel CBC News on Wednesday that he had given information to Canada against India. His terrorist organization Sikhs for Justice has been in touch with Canada's PM Justin Trudeau for the past 2-3 years. He briefed Trudeau about the Indian High Commission's intelligence network.

Pannu currently lives in America and runs an organization called Sikhs for Justice. He holds citizenship of both the US and Canada.

Amid the dispute between India and Canada, an MP from Trudeau's Liberal Party has demanded Trudeau's resignation as party president ahead of next year's Canadian elections. According to CBC News, MP Sean Casey called for Trudeau's resignation, saying the country can't take it anymore.

He said it is time for Trudeau to go, people are losing patience. A meeting was held last week to review the defeat following the party's defeat in the by-elections held in June. Earlier in June, another MP, Wayne Long, called for Trudeau's resignation.

Trudeau has been the Prime Minister of Canada since 2015.

Canadian police seek help of Sikhs against India Amid India-Canada dispute, Canada's RCMP Commissioner Mike Duhame has sought help from the Sikh community living in the country. According to PTI, Duhame said in an interview to Radio Canada channel on Tuesday – We are investigating India's role in the violence in Canada. If anyone has any information regarding this case please let us know. For this he also appealed to the Sikh community living in Canada.
