Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that Israel is committing “genocide” in Gaza and Lebanon. According to a BBC report, Prince Salman was addressing a summit in Riyadh on Monday.
Prince Salman said that Palestine is an independent country and should be given the status of a separate country. He also hinted at improving relations with Iran. Salman warned Israel not to attack Iran and also demanded the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the West Bank and Gaza.
This is the first time Saudi Arabia has criticized Israel so strongly since the war in Gaza began.

The summit was called at a time when Donald Trump has won the US presidential election. It is believed that Islamic countries want to put moral pressure on Trump to stop Israel's actions.
The President of Iran sent the Vice President citing busyness Aljazeera reported that President Massoud Pazkian called the Saudi Crown Prince before the summit. He praised Saudi Arabia for hosting the summit. He told Salman that he would not be able to attend the summit in person, but was sending Iran's First Vice President as his representative.
At the meeting, Iranian Vice President Mohammad Rez Aref called the events in Gaza a 'shameful disaster' and appealed to all Muslim countries to take joint action to respond to Israel.
Last year also, the summit was held in Riyadh on November 11. Leaders of many Muslim countries also participated in this meeting. Even then, Muslim countries united and demanded to impose a ban on Israel.
According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, Israel has killed more than 43 thousand people in Gaza alone since October 7. At the same time, Israel claims to have killed more than 18,000 Hamas fighters.
