The Indian government has alerted Canada about the involvement of Khalistan terrorists in its border police. The name of this terrorist is Sandeep Singh Sidhu alias Sunny who works as a Canadian Border Police Officer.
A charge sheet has been presented in the Supreme Court against Sunny in the case of murder of Shaurya Chakra winner Balwinder Singh.
According to India's National Investigation Agency (NIA), Sunny was also an agent of Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI. In 2020, Sunny was included in NIA's wanted list in Sandhu's murder case. Sandhu was murdered at his home in Bhikhiwind of Punjab's Tarn Taran district.
Balwinder Singh Sandhu was awarded Shaurya Chakra for his efforts against Khalistan terrorism.
The NIA says Sidhu has also been an agent of Pakistan's intelligence agency ISI.
Khalistanis sitting in Canada hatched a murder plot
The NIA told the Supreme Court this week that Canada-based Khalistani militants masterminded the assassination of 2020 Shaurya Chakra winner Balwinder Singh Sandhu.
The NIA said Canada-based Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF) operatives Sunny Toronto, Sukhmeet Pal Singh Sukh and Lakhvir Singh Rode conspired to kill Sandhu.
Lakhvir Singh Rode is the nephew of Khalistan terrorist Bhindranwale and the chief of the KLF. 7 people were killed from January 2016 to October 2017 at the behest of KLF. Many Hindu leaders who did not support Khalistan were also killed.
What is Sandhu murder case?
Balwinder Singh, who had anti-Khalista views, was shot dead by two terrorists in his house, which is next to the school, on 10 October 2020. Balwinder Singh died on the spot in the attack.
Earlier, a case of murder was registered at Bhikhiwind police station. The NIA took over the case on 26 January 2021 after the terrorist connection came to light.
Sidhu was killed by an ISI agent and a KLF terrorist after stopping a Canadian agent from smuggling drugs across the border. Since then he was on NIA's wanted list.
Terror Road hired Sukhmeet Pal Singh to carry out this incident. It was on Rode's instructions that terrorist Inderjit Singh hired two sharp shooters Gurjit Singh and Sukhdeep Singh. Then all of them together carried out this incident.

The matter comes amid tensions between India and Canada. Canada is accusing Indian diplomats of involvement in Nijjar murder case. Calling Canada's allegations false, India recalled its diplomats.
India has threatened the security of its diplomats in Canada. However, later Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau also admitted that the allegations were made without any evidence.
