He has demanded an apology from Walmart. He further said that the sale of these items should be stopped immediately. He said that Lord Ganesha is worshiped as 'Vighnaharta' by more than one billion devotees across the world. He used these types of sandals and swimsuits to hurt religious sentiments.
The foundation has also said that if images of Hindu symbols are to be used for business, the foundation is ready to communicate and share guidelines for this.
