Hurricane Helen hits America, winds up to 225 km/h: a thousand flights canceled, more than 1 million people affected; Emergency in 6 states

Hurricane Helen has reached a very dangerous level in America. Due to which 4 people have died so far. According to CNN, Helen entered Florida on Thursday. Meanwhile, the wind speed was 225 km per hour.

Due to the storm, states of emergency have been declared in Florida and the surrounding states of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Alabama. About 1 crore 20 lakh people are affected by it. The storm is likely to spread to other states, affecting 5 crore people.

More than 1000 flights have been canceled due to the storm. Apart from this, more than 4 thousand flights were delayed.

Due to the storm, there has been heavy rain in many states of America.

The US Coast Guard rescued a man who was drowning at sea on Thursday. He was boating 36 km off Florida when he got caught in a storm.

The storm was kept in category number-4 Helen is one of the most powerful hurricanes to hit the US this year. It has been placed in category-4. It is considered destructive. Power outages hit Florida, affecting nearly two million people. Florida Governor De-Santis had already advised people living in low-lying areas to evacuate.

4 people died due to the storm According to the Independent, Helen caused a trolley parked in a field in Wheeler County, Georgia to overturn and land on the highway. In which two people died. Two vehicles also collided with it, though it is not known how many people were injured. Apart from this, there are news of 2 more deaths due to the storm.
