Hamas Threatens to Kill Israeli Hostages: Hamas Says – If Army Is Sent, There Will Be Consequences, Family Decides Whether Hostage Is Wanted Alive

Hamas has warned Israel after the bodies of Israeli hostages were found in Gaza. Hamas has said that if the Israeli army does not stop pressuring them, they will kill the hostages and put them in coffins and send them to Israel. Hamas threatened and said that it has already ordered its terrorists to do this. According to Al Jazeera, Qassim Brigade spokesman Abu Ubaida said that if Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu tries to free the hostages by military force without any agreement, we will return the hostages in coffins. Now it is up to the families to decide whether they want the hostages back alive or their dead bodies. Netanyahu said the hostages were shot in the head Hamas said Netanyahu and his forces were responsible for the hostages’ deaths. Netanyahu has said that the bodies of the six hostages found in the Hamas tunnel were later shot in the head. The Israeli PM apologized to the country for not being able to bring back the hostages alive. “He said – we came very close, but failed. Hamas will pay a heavy price for this,” he said. A senior Hamas official said the hostages died in an Israeli airstrike. Also, US President Joe Biden has said that Netanyahu is not taking the necessary steps to free the hostages.

Bodies of 6 hostages found in Hamas tunnel In fact, on August 31, Israel found the bodies of 6 hostages in a Hamas tunnel in Gaza. The Israeli army, the IDF, said that Hamas had brutally killed the hostages shortly before the army arrived. The IDF said it had received information about the presence of 6 hostages in the area. Due to which the army was moving very cautiously. Meanwhile, they discovered a Hamas tunnel. During the investigation, the bodies of the hostages were found here. Hamas took a total of 251 Israeli citizens hostage. 97 of them are still in the captivity of Hamas. 105 hostages were freed in a ceasefire in November last year. About 33 people have died there.

Israel’s largest demonstration in 11 months Anger erupted in Israel on September 1 after the bodies of the hostages were found. Around 5 lakh people demonstrated in various cities. The Times of Israel reported that more than 300,000 people gathered in the capital, Tel Aviv, and more than 200,000 in other cities. Protesters held 6 coffins to symbolize the bodies of the 6 murdered hostages. The protesters were accusing Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government of not taking concrete steps to free the hostages. He said the hostages could have been freed if Netanyahu had agreed to stop the war. Netanyahu does not want to compromise for political reasons.
