G20 discusses resumption of India-China direct flights: Talks on resumption of Mansarovar Yatra too; Modi appeared with Trudeau in a photo session

The two-day G20 summit has concluded in Rio de Janeiro, the capital of Brazil. Meanwhile, there was a conversation between the foreign ministers of India and China. In which the two countries agreed on convening a meeting of special representatives after 5 years on the border dispute.

The Ministry of External Affairs said on Wednesday that India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also discussed the resumption of direct flights between the two countries and the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. Both of these were banned after the Corona epidemic.

The G20 manifesto mentions stopping the war in Ukraine and providing more aid to Gaza South Africa has the chance to host the next summit in 2025. A joint manifesto issued by all members called for a global agreement to fight hunger, more aid for war-torn Gaza and an end to the Middle-East and Ukraine wars.

After the third session, Modi held bilateral meetings with Brazilian President Lula de Silva, Chilean President Gabriel Boric, Argentine President Javier Millei and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

We wanted to host the G20 summit like India did last year. Learned a lot from there. I wish we could do something like that.

Lula de Silva said the steps taken by Brazil at the G20 summit were inspired by the decisions taken by India at the G20 last year.

PM Modi gave suggestions on the first two sessions of the G20 summit – 'Tackling Hunger and Poverty' and 'Improving Government Performance'. He said that there is a food crisis in the world because of the war. It has had the greatest impact on poor countries.
