Has Donald Trump called Indian opposition leader Rahul Gandhi an agent of George Soros after winning the US presidential election with a bang? A few verified and non-verified social media users are sharing screenshots of this tweet and giving their comments.
George Soros is an American billionaire businessman who is accused of running an agenda aimed at influencing the politics of several countries, including India.
An ex-post of Rahul Gandhi is being seen in the viral screenshot, in which he has also wished Trump the election victory. There, a message in English from an X account created in the name of Donald Trump is written on the right of this tweet, which reads – Thank you Indian Soros agent Rahul Gandhi. But let me make one thing clear – a person who betrays his country and joins anti-India elements like George Soros, cannot actually support America or my point of view. So Rahul Gandhi you should focus on your own work.
It seems that Rahul Gandhi's X post has been co-tweeted by this account in Trump's name.
A Facebook user shared this screenshot of a vulgar comment on Rahul Gandhi.

Reacting to the viral post, many people are praising Trump.
In this fact check, we found that this ex-post was made by a fake account created in the name of Donald Trump. Trump has not made any such statement about Rahul Gandhi.
What is the reality of this account?
The viral screenshot was tweeted by an account called '@thedonaldtrumph', while Trump's real account is '@realDonaldTrump'. It is clearly written in the 'bio section' of this account that this is a fake account, operated by a person named Ashwini Sahay.
Ashwini Sahay confirmed through an X post on November 6 that the account '@thedonaldtrumph' keeps responding to posts by celebrities like Narendra Modi, Rahul Gandhi and Justin Trudeau. Also, he has clarified that he is not affiliated with any IT cell.
Trump has not posted anything related to Rahul Gandhi at this time
On November 6, Rahul Gandhi congratulated Donald Trump through an X post. Also, he wished Kamala Harris all the best for her future plans.
On November 8, two letters were posted from the official X account of the Congress, in the name and signature of Rahul Gandhi. In the earlier letter, he has expressed the hope that India-US relations will become closer under the leadership of Trump. There, in another letter, he praises Kamala Harris for her spirited campaigning.
We have not found any of Trump's current ex-posts in which he mentions Rahul Gandhi. We also looked at the archived version of Trump's account on the archive.is website, but even here we did not find any posts related to Rahul Gandhi.
An important point here is that after winning the presidential election, Trump has been covered in media around the world. In that case, if he had really called Rahul Gandhi an agent of Soros, there would have been news about it, but we did not get any such news.
So it is clear that the post made by a fake account created in the name of Donald Trump is going viral by calling it a genuine post of Trump.
