Era of talks with PAK is over- Jaishankar: Karma has to pay; A neighboring country is always a puzzle

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has said that the era of unhindered talks with Pakistan is now over. We have to suffer the consequences of every action. Speaking at a book launch event on Friday, Jaishankar said, “As far as Jammu and Kashmir is concerned, Article 370 has been removed.” On India's current relations with Pakistan, the External Affairs Minister said that we will not sit quietly. Whether something good or bad happens, we will definitely react accordingly. Jaishankar also spoke on the issue of Bangladesh in the book programme. He said, “It is very common that we will deal only with the current government there. We will look after the interest of both countries. We know that there have been political changes in Bangladesh which are sometimes harmful.” 'Relations with neighboring countries are a challenge for every country' Foreign Minister said that neighboring countries are always like a puzzle. There is no country in the world that has not faced challenges in relation to neighboring countries. Earlier in May, Jaishankar, who called PoK part of India, said that PoK should be returned to Pakistan. He called it the biggest dream of PM Modi. The foreign minister said that now the people of India have accepted that Article 370 will not come back in Kashmir. Also now our aim is to change the land of PoK. Jaishankar also raised the issue of Pakistan during his visit to Singapore in March. “India is in no mood to ignore terrorism,” he said, adding that Pakistan was continuously promoting terrorism. India will not ignore this. We cannot say that whatever happens, we should start the conversation again. Meanwhile he said how do you deal with a neighbor who does not even hide the fact that he uses terrorism to run the country. Ignoring this we cannot find a way. Jaishankar further said that India is no longer in a mood to ignore terrorists. Every country wants a stable neighbor. If not stable then at least the neighbors should be quiet. Without naming Pakistan, Jaishankar said that we have been a bit unlucky in getting a good neighbour.
