The government of Pakistan's Punjab province has taken an important decision keeping in mind Diwali, the biggest and religious festival of Hindus. Accordingly, it has been announced to give assistance of 10 thousand rupees to every Hindu family. Along with this, on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, it has also been decided to provide assistance up to 10 thousand rupees to Sikh families.
It has been decided to provide special facilities for Sikh devotees coming from countries including India on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. A Punjab government spokesperson said on Wednesday that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered special festival cards to be issued to Hindu and Sikh families on the occasion of the festival.
3 thousand Sikh devotees from India will come to Pakistan during the Guru Nanak Jayanti festival. While approximately 1 thousand devotees are expected to come from abroad. Special provisions have been made regarding transportation and safety.
The main celebration of Guru Nanak Jayanti will take place at Nankana Sahib in the Punjab province of Pakistan. Punjab's first Sikh Minister Ram Singh Aroda said that Prakash Parva will start from November 15. Excellent investment facility will be provided to every devotee.
