The truth behind the viral video…
Initially we examined the viral video clip of PM Modi and Xi Jinping. During the investigation, we found the entire video related to the viral clip of PM Modi and Xi Jinping on PM Modi's official YouTube channel.
In the beginning of this video, it can be seen that PM Modi takes the initiative to shake hands with Xi Jinping but Xi Jinping asks him to come forward with a hand gesture. After this, Xi Jinping and PM Modi arrived at the center and shook hands with each other and posed for the media.
In the next phase of investigation, we examined viral video clips of PM Modi and former German Chancellor Angela Merkel appearing in viral posts. On searching we found the full video related to this clip on The Tribune News YouTube channel.
In the beginning of this video, it can be seen that after talking to the media, East German Chancellor Angela Merkel asked PM Modi to come to the center, after which she shook hands with PM Modi. This video was uploaded to The Tribune News' YouTube channel on May 30, 2017.
