Bunker under hospital, gold, millions of dollars in cash: Hizbollah hid its secret 'treasure' here, found by Israel; Now Hezbollah is miserable

The war between Israel and Hezbollah continues. Israel's army is continuously bombarding Hezbollah positions. The army claimed on Monday that it has reached a Hezbollah hideout where $500 million in cash and gold is hidden. The disclosure comes after an Israeli Air Force strike on Sunday night targeting Hezbollah's financial assets.

30 sites were targeted in air strikes on Sunday night Hagari said that despite information about the treasure, there has been no direct attack on it yet. He said the bunker could contain assets worth at least half of $500 million. This resource can be used to rebuild the Lebanese state.

According to reports, around 30 Hezbollah-linked sites were targeted in the air strike on Sunday night, including sites operated by the Hezbollah-linked financial company al-Qard al-Hasan (AQAH). AQAH, although registered as a charity, has been accused by both Israel and the US of serving as an important financial arm of Hezbollah, facilitating access to cash and gold reserves for military purposes. Hagari claimed that these funds were currently being used to attack Israel. He said that such attacks will continue from Israel.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah said in a statement on Monday that it shot down an Israeli Hermes-900 drone during a firefight with Israeli forces in southern Lebanon on Sunday evening. The group said it was the ninth drone shot down in southern and eastern Lebanon since October 8, 2023.

Israeli forces targeted Hezbollah-linked banks in Lebanon on Sunday night. The Israel Defense Force (IDF) confirmed this. According to the Times of Israel, the al-Qard al-Hasan association provides interest-free loans to Hezbollah members. It has 31 branches across Lebanon.
