British PM accused of hurting Hindu sentiments: Serves non-veg and alcohol at Diwali celebrations; Hindu organizations protested

British PM Keir Starr is accused of hurting the sentiments of Hindus. Hindus living in Britain have alleged that non-veg and alcohol were served at the Diwali celebrations held at Starmer's house.

British Hindu Association 'Insight UK'He has objected to this. Insight UK said proper advice should have been taken before planning such a religious event. PM Starmer hosted a Diwali celebration on 29 October at his official residence, 10 Downing Street.

Insight UK posted on social media that Diwali is not just a time of celebration, but has deep religious significance. Diwali is a festival of purity, so non-vegetarian food and alcohol should be avoided.

Lack of understanding and respect for religious traditions Hindu organization Insight UK said that PM Starmer's choice of menu for Diwali celebrations showed a lack of understanding and respect for religious traditions. The organization raised questions about whether religious leaders were contacted before planning the ceremony. Insight UK called this a lack of understanding of Starmer's spirituality.

The organization suggested that the cultural and religious traditions of the communities should be seriously considered before organizing such events in future. Religious writer Pandit Satish Sharma said in this regard that even if this happened by mistake, it is disappointing.

At the same time, many Hindu organizations have also objected to being invited to the event. British Indian community leaders, professionals and parliamentarians have been invited to the event on 29 October. Meanwhile, PM Storm lit a lamp at the door of 10 Downing Street.
