Nepal's Prime Minister KP Oli said on Saturday that a situation like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka cannot arise in the country. Any form of political violence and anarchy has no place here. Oli emphasized that Nepal is not a photocopy machine of a country. Oli said that there is no place in the country for decades of extremism. The government will not allow any such activities to happen in the country. KP Oli arrived in Kathmandu to launch a book titled “Into the Fire”. The book is written by Captain Rameshwar Thapa, Chairman of Cymric Air. Former PM Prachand said, there is a need to learn from Bangladesh Former PM of Nepal and Chairman of the Maoist Center Pushpakamal Dahal Prachand talked about taking lessons from Bangladesh last month. He asked the KP Oli coalition government to learn lessons from the political instability and unrest in Bangladesh. Reacting to Prachand's statement, Oli said on Saturday, I want to say to those who advise us to learn from others, they should also learn from others. Oli said that Nepal has its own identity. Civilization and culture here is different. So incidents like Bangladesh cannot be repeated in Nepal. Recently, two youths raised slogans against PM Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Kathmandu's open theatre. After the incident, the police arrested both the youths, who were released after 2 days. Sheikh Hasina had to leave Bangladesh after violence Bangladesh's former PM Sheikh Hasina had to leave the country on August 5 due to violence. Violent protests against reservation have been going on in Bangladesh since June 5. After two months of violence, Sheikh Hasina resigned as Prime Minister and returned to India on August 5. After Hasina's resignation, an interim government was formed in Bangladesh under the leadership of Nobel laureate Mohammad Yunus. According to the interim government, around 1,000 people were killed in anti-Hassi protests.
