Womanology: The Woman Card, the Victim Card and Femininity

It has become necessary for the modern woman to be bold, tough and completely self-reliant. Rather, it can be said that a social pressure is created in such a way that if a woman exposes even a little of her weakness or circumstances, she is said to use the victim card. It is very natural for a woman to feel compassion or a little sentimental but if she is modern she cannot afford to 'cry'. If a woman is financially self-sufficient and especially in a profession where the number of men is high, she can never give a domestic reason to her work. If a woman and a man have the same job and both have decided to go home and finish the job, then the situations of both are different. In the evening going home from the place of business, the dashis of men and women are different. They also have different responsibilities especially for children, daily household chores and family expectations. If we look at the majority of Indians living in metros, except for the couples who have higher education and work, there is a significant difference in the roles of men and women at home. In our Indian society there is a huge difference in the daily life and social life of an average man and woman. Whether a woman is modern, educated or self-reliant, she lives with certain struggles. In the metro city, there is a more pronounced partnership between the couple in all household responsibilities than in business. But if we look at the total population of the country, how many couples or families live with mutual understanding? The responsibility of providing for the home, the family, and especially the children naturally rests with the woman, and the challenges of the female body are also different from those of the male. Suppose a woman has painful periods. If you are bleeding profusely and want to be exempted from some work for three or four days of that month, should you laugh it off as a 'woman card'? The whole situation is different when any woman takes advantage of her being a woman or gets excessive favors because she is a woman. It can be said that when a man is wronged against a woman and the woman does it by her own decision, she uses the 'woman card'. However, those who are really hardworking, intellectual, have full potential and who are able to reach the place they are in the field, their progress and success is mocked instead of respected. An insult to her femininity and an insult to her ability is done when she is condemned as a 'woman card'. And another variant is the victim card. There is also a sense of honesty and sharing when any woman expresses her situation, her challenges and her weaknesses. It is called the use of the 'victim card' when Rodan cries to run away from a job and cover up his incompetence. Otherwise, if the expected work, success or responsibility is not fulfilled, it is not a victim card. Actually there is no need to put any stickers like woman card and victim card if there is healthy, balanced and equal behavior.
