The body asks the question: Does having sex after marriage lead to weight gain?

Question: I am a 28 year old female. I got married two months ago. I think my weight has gained a good amount after marriage. Can having sex after marriage lead to weight gain? A girl (Ahmedabad) Answer : People often gain weight after marriage. However, many other reasons are responsible for this, not active sex life. Weight gain has nothing to do with the physical relationship, but with your sex hormones. Weight gain is due to imbalance in sex hormones. The process of having sex is like a workout. It burns calories, so it has nothing to do with your weight. There is no direct correlation between women's weight and sex life. The fact is that most women become careless about body maintenance after marriage which directly affects their weight. People who enjoy a happy sex life do not suffer from depression and stress, and those who do not suffer from depression also have relatively normal diets. Most people feel lonely when they are lonely, and people who are deeply involved in loving sexual relationships are rarely lonely. Your changed eating habits and a little sedentary life are responsible for your weight gain after marriage. If you exercise regularly, you can control the weight well. Apart from this, weight gain in women can also be due to PCOD or premature perimenopause. After marriage, people often go into the comfort zone and leave fitness behind, which causes them to gain weight. Also, in the early days of marriage, couples travel a lot and eat out, which leads to weight gain. To keep hormones balanced in these circumstances, adopt a healthy lifestyle. Try to avoid stress, anxiety and depression. Avoid junk food and fried food. Question: I am a 28 year old guy. I am not married yet but I am physically active with my girlfriend. My problem is that I feel like I get headaches after having sex. What reason would be responsible for this happening? A young man (Botad) Answer: Your problem is a little different, but it can happen sometimes. Many people complain of headaches after having sex. It is called post-coital headache. In this, immediately after a person reaches the peak, the head starts feeling heavy and painful. If so, you can take painkillers as per doctor's advice. Sometimes mental condition can also be responsible for this situation. If you believe in your mind that what you are doing is wrong or even dirty from a religious and social point of view, the mental side effects can also cause headaches. This can also happen when a person feels that they have done something wrong after being sexually satisfied. If there are any such beliefs then it is necessary to remove them. If not then it is imperative to see a good neurologist and get a brain scan if needed. Based on that, you will get proper diagnosis and treatment direction. If there is any physical problem, timely diagnosis will also give time for treatment. Question: Can exercise be done during pregnancy? This will not harm the child, will it? A girl (Anand) Ans : Usually the doctor himself advises to be active and do light exercise during pregnancy. If you want to exercise during pregnancy, take proper advice from your doctor as every woman's physical condition is different. It is not imperative for a pregnant woman to do heavy lifting or strenuous exercise. Light exercise during pregnancy is beneficial as these exercises are physically and mentally satisfying. It prepares the woman for childbirth. Exercising makes the muscles flexible which actually makes delivery much easier. Respiratory control is a useful option during delivery. Back pain can be relieved with proper exercise. These exercises also align joints that have loosened from pregnancy stress. After exercise, the brain produces a chemical substance called 'endorphin' which gives a feeling of happiness and satisfaction. In earlier times, when exercise was not very popular, the elders of the house advised women to exercise as much as possible during pregnancy. Question: I am a 22 year old girl. I suffer from frequent mouth sores. Is there any home remedy for this problem? A girl (Veraval) Answer : There is difficulty in eating and drinking due to sores in the mouth. It can happen for many reasons. Many times stress, lack of sleep and not drinking adequate amount of water cause mouth ulcers. Today's fast food influenced lifestyle has increased mouth ulcers and stomach related problems. People cannot get rid of the problem of mouth sores despite taking various types of medicine. In this case you can try home remedies. If there are sores, grinding a small rind and applying it on the sores two to three times a day cures both mouth and tongue skin. If there are sores, chewing four to five leaves of Tulsi daily in the morning and evening and drinking a little water from the top will be beneficial. Aloe vera juice removes stomach heat. It heals the sores instantly. If you make aloe vera pulp juice and consume it daily, it will be beneficial. Apart from this, making a powder of about two grams of knots and mixing it with a little glycerine and applying it on the sores two to three times a day will give quick benefits. Mix honey and turmeric powder and take it every night before going to bed when you have sores. People who have frequent problem of ulcers should eat tomatoes in excess. Doing so is beneficial.
