Hardwar Goswami
The Jarat government has done a commendable job of including Gita in the curriculum. World's best literature has been translated into Indian language but Indian literature is very little translated in the world. The waterfall of creativity flows there. Monopoly and lack of marketing led us down. There is no guarantee that the scriptures will improve you, but they will not allow you to deteriorate. Niels Bohr, who was awarded the Nobel Prize in 1922 for his outstanding contribution to physics, said: 'When I am troubled by questions, I study the Gita to find answers.' The Gita begins with 'Dhritarashtra Uvacha' and ends with 'Sanjaya Uvacha'. It means that even if you are blind before reading the Gita, after reading it you are sure to get sight. The 'Gita', the classic part of the 'Mahabharata' written by Vedavyas five thousand years ago, describes the inner voice. It is not in Mahabharata, it is not anywhere in the world. Knowledge imposes here the painful consequences of being blinded by thought. In the 18th century, Warren Hastings had Wilkins translate the Bhagavad Gita into English. It has been translated into most languages of the world. Jnaneshwar wrote the Gita in Marathi just as Tulsidas rendered the Ramayana in folk style. About 500 books explaining the Gita have been published in Gujarati by writers ranging from Gandhiji to Gunwant Shah. The 24,447 letters of the Gita have the fragrance of different flowers in a garden. The language is continuous from the first chapter of The Battlefield to the eighteenth chapter of The Fullness of Abandonment. Most of the verses have liked to fall into the rhythm of Anushtup. Duryodhana was asked in the battlefield, 'Who is in front?' Then he replied, 'Enemy.' This answer indicates its khunnas and khatrag. When asked the same question to Arjuna, he said, 'They are my brothers.' This answer indicates his manners and courtesy. Duryodhana-like instincts arise when there is a desire not to give even the edge of a needle. Pandava-like activity takes shape when the desire to sacrifice everything for religion awakens. When revolutionary Madanlal Dhingra was hanged, he held the Gita in one hand. His final message was: 'Service to country is service to Lord Krishna.' Krishna has also given the same message in the Gita that Motherland comes first, then everything else. Seeing the Gita in Dhingra's hands at the end, many non-Indians were attracted to this Mahagrant. Gita is a universal scripture. Removes your narrowness and gives a new sky, giving strength to sit like a phoenix. Gita is one of the great mysteries of the world. Which is the sea, all according to their own strength, solve it. During the battle of Kurukshetra, Bhishma says, 'If even a whisper of Krishna and Arjuna's dialogue is heard, I will be blessed.' This auspicious moment should be cherished like lightning. The best dialogue in the world is Kavya Gita. To which Sanjay and Dhritarashtra are silent witnesses. It is the energy of a word that stretches to a poetic verse and extends to the breath of a people. Krishna preaches to Arjuna not as a guru, but as a friend. However, as we have interpreted the precepts or orders, Krishna had taken the Gita from the heart. The motion was to move from mourning to verse. The world's first motivational speech was given in an open theater called Kurukshetra. There was only one listener like Hazara and that too confused and bewildered, but Krishna whose name. In a few minutes, the listener is under his control. A great speaker never underestimates an audience. If you believe in your words, even Akshouhini's army fills water. Krishna defeats even defeat. As the Gita says and as Geethakumari Phogat has done 'Karmanyevadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachan|' This verse is like pasting on the wall of the drawing room. Gives support to the downtrodden and downhearted. The sacrifices that women have made behind men in the desert have not been talked about much. 'What to do?' It is learned from the Ramayana and 'What not to do?' It is known from the Gita. War will never get rich. Sanjay did the world's first live telecast. Sanjay was a true journalist. Sanjay did not give spicy information in the name of 'Breaking News' or 'Sabse Pahle'. Even the audience drawn by the camera's eye is as blind as Dhritarashtra. But the essence of the entire Gita comes in this verse of the second chapter. 'Klebym ma sm gamah naitatvayuppadhyate| Shudram Hrdayadhaurbalyam Tyaktvotistha Parantap||' Arjuna is addressed as Prithaputra. Krishna's father was Vasudeva's sister Pritha. Thus Krishna remembered the blood engagement with Arjuna. There is no problem in telling lies if society is doing good. The real importance is the intention, not the device. The Gita, the adornment of culture and the heritage of the past, is still at the fore. Gita is a sung poem. If you keep religion aside and enjoy the Gita, you will have a glorious and divine feeling. Although the scriptures of Hinduism, Hinduism does not limit itself to giving a message of equanimity to world culture. Krishna has been very popular among devotees and devotees due to his simplicity and simplicity. Finally Krishna says: 'I have told you what is the right path, now do as you wish.' Krishna gives leeway and freedom to take the right decision. When reading the Gita, one feels lightness like a peacock. A Kshatriya never retreats. If he does that, he is not a Kshatriya. Losing a battle is forgivable, but turning your back is a sin. Even today we do not show our backs after visiting the shrines. Tradition says don't run away from the situation. Krishna considers Arjuna's feelings as weakness. Krishna says to give up such false generosity and so-called non-violence. Like Hanuman, Arjuna is introduced to his forgotten power when Krishna gives Arjuna his own identity through the address 'Parantap' (suppressor of enemies). Millions of battles can be fought hand to mouth if the charioteer of the chariot of life is found like Krishna. Ultimately it is man's karma that perfumes life. Why call those who have not studied Gita Hindustani? The Gita is a wonderful spring into which we are drenched from within by taking a dip. If you say it with a sincere heart, Krishna is holding the finger of the apprehensive Arjuna living in us. Come… use your eyes as if tomorrow you are going to be blind. In this way, make full use of the other senses as well. Enjoy every aspect of happiness and beauty that nature has thrown in front of you. – Helen Keller }
