Relationship: There is a growing trend of couples therapy before marriage

Shibani Dandekar was seen on Rhea Chakraborty's podcast sometime ago. In an interview, Shibani said that after marriage, she and Farhan Akhtar had couples therapy. In our society, therapy is often considered an option for dealing with problems, but that doesn't necessarily mean that couples should seek therapy only if there are problems in the relationship. Couples therapy is important for every couple because there is always room for improvement in every relationship and no two people are ever the same. Knowing what marriage is is essential for every couple. Taking this therapy before marriage is beneficial. What Couples Therapy Means Couples therapy is not just about saving a marriage. Rather, it is to illustrate that marriage is not a burden or a responsibility but a life-long partnership filled with happiness. In couple therapy couples are asked several questions related to compatibility. They are asked to speak on certain topics so that the conversation between them increases. They are given time management insights and tips on how to treat each other. They are asked to make some rules for spending time together such as going on a date once a week or spending an hour every day without parents, without phones and without friends. Benefits of Couple Therapy Couple therapy is a marriage manual or toolbox. It means that if any problem arises between the couple, it helps to develop an understanding that they can handle any situation very intelligently and resolve it. Couple therapy is a panacea to overcome problems or defects in married life. Along with this, couples get guidance on how to treat their partner in every situation and how to improve and refresh the relationship. In this therapy, the negativity of old relationships is removed from their hearts. Some people have a negative attitude seeing bad marriages around them but after therapy their outlook becomes positive. When two people come together before marriage, their culture, their language, their outlook, their background are very different. Therefore, in couple therapy efforts are made to make them compatible with each other. Every couple faces challenges at some point and one cannot always be prepared for every challenge. In some marriages, couples maintain their relationship by suppressing their emotions. He is not happy but continues the marriage for a long time. In such a situation, if couple therapy is taken, their married life can improve a lot. Boys and girls are sometimes very insecure about their relationships. Some couples don't want to adjust so many times it becomes an issue in couples that they don't get equal respect. Some girls face problems because their husbands don't give them time or talk to them.
