Mental Health: The Optimistic Benefit of Optimism Fifth

From this, business will flourish. For some, Diwali is over quickly, while for some, the festival mood will still be going on. This new year brings a lot of new wishes and goals. Let me tell you an interesting thing about psychology in such circumstances. People have different mindsets depending on their goals and expectations for them. Both optimistic and pessimistic thinking have far-reaching effects on behavior. Under normal circumstances an optimist is full of confidence about the future. He largely believes that the result of the work will be positive. A pessimist on the other hand is often skeptical about the future and burdened with negative outcome expectations. Do you know, 85% of the elections of major countries of the world and especially of America have been won only on optimism. Of course, that doesn't mean that the winning candidate is the best, but the result is here. It is better to be an optimist, says psychology. Why? Let's see. Research shows that an optimistic person experiences relatively less anxiety and less depression. An optimist chooses to be more successful in trying to overcome difficulties in life. An optimistic person recovers quickly from some physical diseases. Like, bypass surgery, breast cancer, AIDS, various transplants, etc. Such an optimistic person's thinking has been found to be more powerful in problem-solving. Humor and laughter are an integral part of their lives. Such people are always at the forefront of making new plans. An optimist can think of more options to solve any problem by looking at it from a different point of view. And if the situation is not under his control, he has the courage to accept the reality contrary to his expectation. Not only that, but one learns something new from negative situations. While a pessimist is more immersed in negative situations. An optimist also accepts an unpleasant situation and expresses his feelings about it socially, while a pessimist tries to run away from the problem. Represses negative emotions or displays them in ways that are not normally acceptable (such as extreme anger or addiction). Sometimes running away from real problems. An optimist is aware of his physical and mental health. If someone starts any work, he is determined to finish it with continuous efforts. A pessimist waits for something bad to happen in anticipation of negative outcomes, and then projects that negativity onto others. Optimists have been shown to be more productive in research. Can optimism be learned? The answer is, yes! While there are some hereditary factors for optimism, childhood experiences play an important role in shaping an optimistic outlook. Carefully observing and identifying our thoughts in negative situations can plant the seeds of success. Once one finds or diagnoses the root of one's persistent negative thought, one can consciously put it away. The more we can think of alternative positive ideas for problem-solving, the faster we can get out of the spiral of negativity. Often our old and rigid cause-and-effect relationships to an event shake us. This means that often the conclusions we draw about an event or a person's behavior may not be the same. The defense technique of blame is the fruit of such faulty thinking and attitudes. Here, special care should be taken to ensure that the goal or the optimistic approach towards the event is realistic. Otherwise, the artificial optimism created towards the whimsical imagination and hollow motivational matters eventually leads to physical-psychological harm. It is necessary to be more natural, humane, logical and practical in this matter. May the whole coming year benefit us all with such optimism!
