Shefali Pandya 'Ami'
No matter what anyone says, Rakesh will never say yes. He doesn't feel any pressure in everything Riddhi says. Riddhi often felt bad. She thought, 'Hey, I'm never doing anything or doing things right? Rakesh rejects everything I say. What to do?' Riddhi's parents find the right young man for her, the best young man according to her parents is Rakesh. Although Riddhi is a modern-day girl, she respects her parents' choice. Who knew then that this excellent young man would turn out to be a negative observer of everything? Once Rakesh kicked Riddhi in the presence of his parents. It was a simple matter of making coffee, but who knew Rakesh took a sip of coffee and said, 'Riddhi, when will you learn to make anything well? Don't you know how to make strong coffee?' And he stood up and went to the room. The way Riddin Rakesh said it in front of his mother-in-law, he was okay with it, but his mother-in-law i.e. Rakesh's mother didn't like it either. Her mother-in-law said, 'Riddhi, son, you will not do anything wrong. It has been like this since childhood. He never appreciated me either…' Riddhi silently went to the kitchen. Riddhi decided that day, 'Enough is enough. Rakesh, who sees my fault in everything, now has to be taught to appreciate. Without that he will not realize the importance of mother, wife or sister in the family and how to live with them?…' After a few days Riddhi was in the kitchen and Rakesh called her name. Riddhi did not answer. Rakesh came to the kitchen in a daze and said, 'Are you so busy with work that you don't even hear my shouts?' Then Riddhi said, 'Rakesh, I am working thinking about you all day long. When anything happens, the first thought that comes to mind is what will be your response? I have never received a positive response from you. Now I'm tired of your habit of seeing everything negatively.' Rakesh was suddenly stunned to hear Riddhi's answer like this. Riddhi, who had never answered herself till now, was something different today. When I made coffee for you that day, you said that I don't know how to make coffee! What do you think I am good at? Hey! Never mind, have you ever appreciated your mom's work? If you can't appreciate your mother, why talk about me?' Hearing this reply of Riddhi, Rakesh was lost in thought. He realized that Riddhi's words were true. I never even told my mom about doing something well. As Riddhi has suffered, about me, my mother must have suffered more than that. Rakesh came in thinking. His mother was sitting in front of him. Rakesh held her hands and said, 'Mom, I have hurt you so much all my life. Riddhi's answer today opened my eyes. From now on I will never insult you or Riddhi…' Her mom put her hand on her head and kissed her forehead. A unique affectionate union of understanding and affection is taking place.
