Madhya Pradesh experienced extreme weather every second day, while Kerala recorded the highest number of deaths at 550. Then there were 353 deaths in Madhya Pradesh and 256 in Assam. Andhra Pradesh had the highest number of houses damaged with a figure of 85806. While Maharashtra witnessed extreme events in 142 days.
