There is a church called Lord's Matha in the Koodathai area near Kozhikode in Kerala. Adjacent to the church is a large cemetery. On 4-10-2019, suddenly a large convoy of Kerala Police reached this Christian graveyard and dug up 6 graves and took out the skeletons. Forensic experts packed all the skulls exhumed from the grave and took them for examination. What happened to these six deaths of the same family over a long period of 14 years that the graves were dug up again and the skulls removed? This story is about a very rich Thomas family living in Kozhikode, Kerala. Tom Thomas was considered the big head of Kozhikode. Eight members in this family with assets worth crores of rupees. 66-year-old Tom, his wife Anamma, young son Roy, his wife Jolly, Tom's brother-in-law i.e. Roy's maternal uncle Mathew Manjadil, Tom's younger brother, son Shazu who did not survive, his wife Seely and two-year-old daughter Elphin. Tom Thomas' elder son Rojo was in America. Anamma managed this entire family, but on 22-October-2002, she suddenly started panicking. There was a burning sensation in the chest. She was alone in the room. Saad did not even come out of his throat to call someone and he died. When husband Tom went into the room, he found his wife slumped in a chair and called the doctor. The doctor checked and said, death is due to heart attack. Tom Thomas died on October 26, 2008, after six years of barely forgetting Anamma. The doctor also attributed his death to a heart attack. On September 30, 2011, three years after Tom's death, Tom's son Roy collapsed in bed after having lunch. All of a sudden, she started panicking, feeling dizzy and had terrible vomiting. A doctor was immediately called, but he died before the doctor arrived. Again the same reason came up, heart attack. Roy's uncle Matthew Manjadil also lived in this family. Three deaths in the last few years became suspicious and asked the family to get Roy's post-mortem done. Despite the reluctance of Roy's wife Jolie and the family, a postmortem was performed. Before the report came in, Roy's body was handed over and the family buried it. After some time, the postmortem report of Roy Thomas came out, which shockingly stated that poison was found in Roy's body. But which poison was it? Was it produced in the body itself or given from outside? There was no clarification on this matter. Roy's maternal uncle requested the police to give a more detailed report. The police kept shouting and time flew by. Finally on 24th February-2014 Mathew Thomas also died in the same manner and the cause was a heart attack. Three months later, in May, Tom's younger brother's son, Shazu Joseph, who lived with the same family, also died in the same way, his two-year-old daughter, Elphin, after suddenly panicking after drinking water. Even for such a young daughter, the doctor gave heart attack as the reason. Two years after Elfin's death, his mom and Shazu's wife Seely also died of panic attacks and vomiting. *** From 2002 to 2016, 6 people died in this house continuously. Except for the last two or three, the interval between deaths was so long that no one could do anything. Now there were only two people left in this house who are the owners of crores of wealth. One Roy's widowed wife Jolly and Tom's nephew Shazu. A year passed like this. In the year-2017 suddenly widow Joli and widower Shazu got married. Both were single and sister-in-law, so no one raised any objection, but this news fell upon the thought of meeting Rojo, the elder son of Tom Thomas, who lives in America. Worms of doubt were creeping in his mind when his distant relative living in Kerala called Rojo one day and said, 'Rojo! I don't think Shazu and Jolly's antics are okay. They have started mistaking your property for themselves.' Rojo was convinced that there must be something wrong in this house. And he left to come to India. However, at that time he did not even know that the trouble was much bigger than he thought. Here was not just a simple case of property but also the Vaishila pythons of a terrible conspiracy.
