Vinod Kambli dancing video in hospital goes viral: Danced to Chak De India song; Improve health before New Year

A video of former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli dancing from the hospital has surfaced. Kambli has been undergoing treatment at Akrita Hospital in Thane district since December 21.

Kambli has a brain clotting disorder. Dr. is treating him. Vivek Trivedi said Kambli had initially complained of urinary infection and cramping. Doctors treating Kambli said on Monday that his health is improving. In a viral video from the hospital, Kambli is dancing to the Chak De India song. Meanwhile, a nurse is also seen dancing with him.

People were advised not to drink alcohol

Even before this, Kambli had advised the people of the hospital not to drink alcohol. The former cricketer said that he is feeling better now. He also sang 'We Are The Champions…We'll Be Back' on his hospital bed. He advised people not to drink alcohol, your family will not like it. The 52-year-old former cricketer said- 'I will never leave it (cricket) because I remember how many centuries and double centuries I have scored. I am grateful to Sachin Tendulkar, as his blessings have always been with me.

Kambli has been undergoing treatment at Akrita Hospital in Thane district since December 21.

Kambli's career: Scored 1084 runs in 17 Test matches

Kambli was the fastest batsman to score 1000 Test runs in 14 innings. Scored a total of 1084 runs in 17 Test matches for the Indian team. Which includes 4 centuries and 3 fifties. Scored a total of 2477 runs in 104 ODIs, including 2 centuries and 14 fifties. His performances in the 2000s were very poor and due to this he was dropped from the Indian team. He played his last ODI for Team India in the year 2000 against Sri Lanka.

Kambli cried in the field

The World Cup semi-final between India and Sri Lanka was played on 13 March 1996 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata when Kambli cried on the field. Sri Lanka scored 251 runs. In reply, the Indian team was in good shape at one point losing one wicket for 98 runs, but after Sachin's dismissal, the team's batting order collapsed. Team India lost 8 wickets for 120 runs.

It was the 35th over and the Indian team needed 132 runs off 156 balls. Vinod Kambli 10 and Anil Kumble were at the crease without opening an account. After this, the spectators started throwing bottles on the field. A part of the stadium caught fire. The match was stopped and Sri Lanka was declared the winner. Then Kambli started crying while returning from the field.

After the match ended, the unbeaten Kambli started crying on the field.

Kambli had 2 marriages, also acted in films Kambli was first married to Noella and secondly to fashion model Andrea Hewitt. In June 2010, Andrea gave birth to Cambli's son Jesus Cristiano. After retiring from cricket in 2000, Kambli also turned to films. In 2002, the film 'Anarth' starring Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty and Preity Jhangia was released. Directed by Ravi Dewan, the film flopped badly. In 2009, Kambli again did a film called Pal Pal Dil Ke Saath. Directed by VK Kumar, the film featured Kambli's former cricketer friends Ajay Jadeja and Mahi Gill, but the film also failed to win the hearts of the audience.
