4 batsmen scored more than 100 runs in this match, out of which 3 were Indians. Jaiswal scored 161 runs, Kohli scored 105 runs and Rahul scored 103 runs in the match. While Travis Head contributed 100 runs from Australia.

5. Rahul, Pant and Reddy scored runs on important occasions Opener KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant and Nitish Reddy scored runs at crucial moments. Rahul added 26 runs in challenging conditions on the first day. After that, Pant contributed 37 runs and Reddy contributed 48 runs. Both had a vital partnership of 48 runs. With this partnership, India reached 150 runs in the first innings. Then in the second innings, Rahul along with Yashaswi gave the team a strong start. Kohli scored 100 runs and Nitish Reddy scored 38 runs to take the team's score to 487.
