Team Europe has won the Laver Cup due to the strong performance of Spain's tennis player Carlos Alcaraz. Europe beat Team World 13-11. The 21-year-old Alcaraz defeated Taylor Fritz 6-2, 7-5 in the last match on Sunday night.
Team Europe has won the Laver Cup for the fifth time. Before this, Team Europe became champions 3 years ago in 2021. After the win, Alcaraz hugged captain Jorn Borg and said – 'We did this for you.' Captain Borg finished his tenure with a 5-2 record over his rival, friend and Team World captain John McEnroe.
The 21-year-old Alcaraz was the hero of Team Europe's victory. He won 2 matches on the last day.

- What is a Laver Cup? The Laver Cup is a prestigious tennis tournament. Which is played between Team Europe and Team World. It was launched in 2017. The tournament will last for 3 days. Both teams have 6 members each participating in this 3 day tournament. One includes European stars, while the other includes top players from around the world.
- How is it played? The tournament consists of 9 singles and 3 doubles matches. There is one doubles and 3 singles matches each day. One point is awarded for each match win on the first day, 2 points are awarded for each match win on the second day and 3 points are awarded for each match win on the third day. The first team to reach 13 points becomes the champion.
Alcaraz, Zverev and Dimitrov made comebacks on the final day Team Europe trailed 4-8 on the third and final day of the tournament. In this situation, the pair of Alcaraz and Rudd recorded a 6–2, 7–6 victory over Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe in the first doubles match of the day to make the final score 7–8, but Dimitrov lost to Ben Shelton.
