Team India's Probable Playing XI for Sydney Test: Team to field with only 2 spinners, Gill's return unlikely; Changes to Australia's playing XI

The fifth and final match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia will be played at the Sydney Cricket Stadium from tomorrow. The match will start at 5:00 AM. Australia is leading 2-1 in the 5-match Test series. India won the first match and Australia won the second and fourth matches. The third match was a draw.

This match is very important for India. They will have to win the Sydney Test if they want to keep the trophy and stay in the race for the final of the World Test Championship.

India will enter the playing XI with one change. Fast bowler Akash Deep has been ruled out of the fifth match due to injury. Sydney pitches are different from other pitches in Australia. Spin helps more than speed here. In such a situation, the Indian team can play two spinners in this match as well. Also Shubman Gill's return is looking difficult.

On the other hand, Australia has dropped Mitchell Marsh. His replacement has given Beau Webster a chance to make his Test debut.

India's probable playing XI for the third Test…

Gill could miss the second match in a row There is little possibility of change in the batting order of Team India in this match. Captain Rohit Sharma will open in the fourth match along with Yashaswi Jaiswal. KL Rahul will be at number-3, Virat Kohli at number-4, Rishabh Pant at number-5. Shubman Gill may also miss this match. Looking at the pitch, spin all-rounder Washington will play well in his place.

Jadeja, Sundar and Nitish will be all-rounders India played three all-rounders in the last match. In which two spin all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar were good. Nitish Reddy played as a pace all-rounder. Considering the nature of the pitch in Sydney, the team may go with the same playing-11 in this match as well. Here spin helps more than speed. In such a situation it is possible to play two spinners Jadeja and Sundar.

The bowling attack may change Bowling changes are possible. Fast bowler Akash Deep has been ruled out of the fifth match due to injury. Rohit may include the popular Krishna in the playing-11 in the absence of Akash Deep. Vice captain Jasprit Bumrah is in superb form. However, it is not getting support from the other end. Mohammad Siraj was not very effective in the last match. He gave away 122 runs in 23 overs in the first innings and did not take any wickets. Along with this, 3 wickets were taken in the second innings.
