Indian captain Jasprit Bumrah walked off the field on the second day of the Sydney Test on Saturday. It has been taken for scanning. According to media reports, he complained of a side strain. Virat Kohli took over the captaincy in Bumrah's absence. However, he returned to the stadium later in the day.
Bumrah bowled an over after lunch the next day. He then felt a bit uncomfortable and walked off the field after talking to Kohli. The broadcaster then showed him leaving the stadium with team security liaison officer Anshuman Upadhyay and the team doctor.
Bumrah was doing the captaincy in place of Rohit Sharma Jasprit Bumrah was captaining India in the Sydney Test. On the first day of the Test, Bumrah arrived for India's toss wearing a blazer. Captain Rohit Sharma ruled himself out, not playing the fifth Test. Shubman Gill has got a chance to replace him.
