Squad announced for Test against Bangladesh: Kohli-Pant-Rahul comeback, Yash Dayal's surprise entry; Placement of 6 players who did not play Duleep Trophy in the squad

Team India has been announced for the first match of the 2-Test series against Bangladesh. A 16-player squad was selected for the match to be played in Chennai from September 19. Sarfaraz Khan and wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurrell were included in the middle order. Left arm pacer Yash Dayal got a chance in the Test team for the first time. Virat Kohli, KL Rahul and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant will also return to the Test team from the series against Bangladesh. All three were not part of the last series against England. 4 young players include middle order batsman Sarfraz Khan, wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurrell, fast bowler Akash Deep and Yash Dayal have been included in the squad. All three players except Dayal made their debut in the series against England this year. Dayal took 4 wickets in the first round of the Duleep Trophy. 6 Duleep Trophy non-players make place 6 Duleep Trophy non-players make it to the squad. Including captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj. All the five players except Kohli played the Test series against England in February-March this year. Virat could not play the series due to personal reasons. Bangladesh to play 2 Tests and 3 T20s Bangladesh tour of India will start from September 19. The first Test will be played in Chennai and the second in Kanpur from September 27. 3 T-20s will be played on October 6, 9 and 12. The matches will be held in Gwalior, Delhi and Hyderabad. Team India for the first test: Rohit Sharma (captain), Yasshwi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant (wicketkeeper), Dhruv Jurrell (wicketkeeper), Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Akshar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammad Siraj, Akash, Deep, Jasprit Bumrah and Yash Dayal.
