SFA Championship sees outstanding performances in Basketball, Table Tennis: James Genesis International School tops table with 169 points in Championship

Henish Bhaveshkumar Patel of Ahmedabad Public School International, Gandhinagar opened with a gold medal in Boys Under-18 800m. Jamnabai Narsi School's Krishna Thakur Chandwani won the Boys' U-16 200m, while Riverside School's Sanaya Rawal topped the Girls' U-16 200m. Zia Detroja from Green Valley School for Children impressed by winning the gold medal in the shot put (3 kg) event.

In basketball, Rachna School, Shahibaug, won the gold medal in the girls U-11 category, while Mount Carmel High School emerged victorious in the U-16 category. In Kabaddi, Kendriya Vidyalaya, AFS Vadsar, Gandhinagar, bagged gold in the Girls Under-17 category, with PM Sri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, Shahibaug, and Sri Vidyanagar School claiming the top spot in Boys U-17 and U-19, respectively, in Volleyball, James Genesis. International School Gold in both Boys' Under-12 and Under-14 categories Showed dominance by getting.

Additionally, the table tennis events witnessed exceptional performances, with Aryan Rao of Delhi Public School, Gandhinagar making a strong impression by winning silver in the boys' under-16 singles and gold in the under-18 singles. Jash Mehta from Udgam School for Children topped the U-10 category, while Tavish Patel from AES AG Primary School emerged victorious in the U-12 category. Harshvardhan Bhatt of Fatima Convent Primary School rounded off with a gold medal in Boys U-15 Singles.

James Genesis International School leads the table with 169 points with one day left in the championship. It is followed by Udgam School for Children, Thaltej, second with 140 points and Anand Niketan School, Sheelj, rounding up the podium with 133 points.
