The Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Annual General Meeting (AGM) does not include the agenda for the election of the Secretary. Now the new secretary will be elected in a special general meeting (SGM). In this regard, the board has sent a notice to all state associations on Thursday, September 5. According to this, the annual meeting of the board will be held on September 29 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Bengaluru. During this period, the newly constructed National Cricket Center in Bengaluru will also be inaugurated. The last AGM was held on 25 September 2023 in Goa. According to the notice, the AGM agenda does not mention the BCCI secretary election, as the post will fall vacant if Shah becomes the ICC president. Due to which the post of Secretary of the Indian Board is going to fall vacant. In such a situation, the BCCI will have to choose a new secretary before December 1.
