India's star badminton player PV Sindhu is going to get married. She will marry Hyderabad-based Venkat Dutta Sai on December 22 in Udaipur. Venkat is the Executive Director at Poseidex Technologies.
Sindhu's father PV Raman said in Lucknow on Monday night – 'Both families knew each other but everything was decided a month ago. This was the only possible time as his (Sindhu's) schedule is going to be very busy from January onwards.
Sindhu's father said, 'That's why both the families decided to hold the wedding ceremony on December 22. The reception will be held on December 24 in Hyderabad. He will start his training soon, as the next season is going to be very important. Marriage related programs will start from December 20.'
Won the title after 2 years 29-year-old Indian star PV Sindhu won the Syed Modi International Badminton Tournament title on Monday night. He defeated China's Wu Luo Yu 21-14, 21-16. Sindhu won the title after 2 years and 4 months. He last won the title in July 2022.
The Indian star said- 'This win will increase my confidence. Being 29 has been beneficial to me in many ways. I have a lot of experience. I will definitely play for a few years.'
