This week saw an increase in gold prices. According to India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA) data, 10 grams of 24 carat gold was priced at Rs 78,015 last Friday (October 25), which touched Rs 78,425 yesterday (Friday, November 2) after a week of trading.
After a week's trading, the price of a kg of silver eased by Rs 2,299 to Rs 93,501 per kg. A week ago silver price was Rs.95,800. On October 30, gold was Rs. 79,681 and on October 23 silver Rs. 99,151 was an all-time high.

- Chennai: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 73,700 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 80,400.
- Bhopal: The price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 73,750 and the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 80,450.
Gold can go up to 87 thousand rupees by next Diwali
According to Anuj Gupta, Head of Commodities and Currencies, HDFC Securities, geopolitical tensions and the festive season are driving gold gains. Because of this, an increase in gold and silver can be seen in the coming days. Gold may go up to 87 thousand rupees per 10 grams by next month.
