The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the ICC Players of the Month on Tuesday. Pakistani spinner Noman Ali has been declared the player of the month in the men's category. While the women's category has given this award to Amelia Kern of New Zealand.
Along with Noman, New Zealand left-arm spinner Mitchell Santner and South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada were also in the race. Centoner performed brilliantly against India and Rabada against Bangladesh.
Noman took 20 wickets in the series against England Noman Ali took 20 wickets in the three-Test series against England in October. He was instrumental in helping Pakistan, trailing 1-0 in the three-Test series, win the remaining two matches. He took 3 wickets for 101 runs in the first innings in the second Test.
In the second innings, he took 8 wickets for 46 runs. He took 3 wickets for 88 runs in the first innings in the third Test. While in the second innings, he took 6 wickets for 42 runs. Along with this, he also scored 45 runs in the first innings of the second Test.
