Pakistan win ODI series against South Africa: 2nd ODI won by 81 runs, Shaheen Afridi-Naseem Shah brilliant bowling; Kamran Ghulam player of the match

Pakistan beat South Africa by 81 runs in the second match of the 3-match ODI series. Pakistan has taken a 2-0 lead in the three-Test series and has also clinched the series.

In the match played in Cape Town, Pakistan scored 329 runs in 49.5 overs, but in reply, hosts South Africa managed to score only 248 runs in 43.1 overs. Kamran Ghulam, who scored a half-century, was selected as the player of the match.

Kamran, Babar and Rizwan scored half centuries Earlier, Pakistan batted first in this match and Kamran Ghulam played a quick innings. He completed his half century in the first 25 balls and then scored 63 runs in 32 balls with the help of 5 sixes and 4 fours.

Pakistan skipper Rizwan also played a captain's innings and scored 80 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 7 fours while Babar Azam played a good innings of 73 runs. Pakistan's opener Batter Saim Ayub scored 25 runs in this match.

For South Africa, fast bowler Kwena Mfaka took the most 4 wickets while team all-rounder Marco Janssen took 3 wickets.

72-run partnership between Klaasen and David Miller Chasing the target of 329 runs, South Africa did not start well. His first wicket fell for just 34 runs. Captain Temba Bavuma was dismissed after scoring 12 runs. Tony DeGeorge scored 34 runs. Aidan Markram returned to the pavilion scoring 21 runs. Africa lost 4 wickets for 113 runs.

After which David Miller and Henrik Klaassen tried to handle South Africa's innings. Both shared a partnership of 72 runs in 72 balls for the fifth wicket. Klaasen scored 97 runs off 74 balls, but could not lead the team to victory.

Brilliant bowling by Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah bowled brilliantly. Afridi took 4 wickets for 47 runs in 8 overs. While Naseem Shah took 3 wickets by giving 37 runs in 8.1 overs. Abrar Ahmed got 2 while Salman Agha got one.
