Pakistan may be stripped of hosting the Champions Trophy to be held in February next year. India has refused to go to Pakistan and play this tournament. Pakistani newspaper The Dawn quoted a PCB source as saying that if Pakistan is stripped of hosting, it may refuse to play in the tournament. The Indian team has not played in Pakistan since 2008 due to strained political relations.
