Team India will not go to Pakistan in the Champions Trophy. After the claim surfaced in a report citing Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said they had not received anything in writing. No one has discussed the hybrid model with us yet.
An Indian Express report on 8 November quoted BCCI sources as claiming that Team India would not travel to Pakistan. BCCI has written to PCB regarding this. According to reports, BCCI has expressed its desire to play its match in Dubai. In the hybrid model, the match is held outside the host country.
The Champions Trophy draft will be played from February 19 to March 9 next year as per the schedule. Matches of this event can be held in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.

He further said, 'So far no one has discussed a hybrid model with us, nor are we ready to talk about it. Pakistan has behaved well many times in recent years and does not expect good from us every time.'

After the terrorist attack on Mumbai in 2008, the Indian government refused to play cricket in Pakistan. Since then both teams play only in ICC and ACC tournaments.
