The 34-year-old bowler wrote in his post- 'Accuracy, speed and passion… ready to take on the world!' Shami is out of Team India from ODI World Cup 2023. He was not selected in the Indian squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) due to not being fully fit, although he bounced back with performances in the Ranji Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali and Vijay Hazare Trophy.
