Mirpur Test- South Africa win by 7 wickets: Bangladesh second innings 307 all out; Rabada took 9 wickets in the match

South Africa beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets in the Mirpur Test. On the fourth day of the match on Thursday, the team chased the target of 106 runs after losing 3 wickets in the first session. Bangladesh were bowled out for 307 runs in the second innings.

After winning the toss at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, the Bangladesh team was bowled out for 106 runs. South Africa then scored 308 runs and took a lead of 202 runs. Kyle Verne was the player of the match. He scored 114 runs in the first innings. Kagiso Rabada took a total of 9 wickets in the match.

Third day's play… On the third day of the Mirpur Test, Bangladesh has taken a lead of 81 runs in the second innings. The team started play on Wednesday ahead of its yesterday's score of 101 runs. All-rounder Mehdi Hasan Miraj's fifty has made Bangladesh 283 for the loss of 7 wickets. Stumps were postponed on the third day due to bad light.

Kagiso Rabada took the most wickets for the Proteas team with 6 wickets. Apart from that, Keshav Maharaj got 3 wickets.

Zakar Ali scored a fifty on debut. He played an innings of 58 runs.

Another day's game… On the second day of the Mirpur Test, Bangladesh scored 101 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in the second innings. Opener Mahmood Hasan scored 40 runs and Mushfiqur Rahim returned to the pavilion with 33 runs. Earlier on Tuesday morning, South Africa had taken a lead of 202 runs in the first innings. Proteas team was all out after scoring 308 runs.

The team opened from their score of 140 and scored 308 on a turning track thanks to a superb century from wicketkeeper-batsman Kyle Vereen and a half-century from Viane Mulder. Taijul Islam took 5 wickets from Bangladesh. While Hasan Mahmood got 3 wickets and Mehdi Hasan Miraj got 2 wickets.

Taijul Islam took 5 wickets for 122 runs in 36 overs.

First day's game… Earlier, the Bangladesh team was all out for 106 runs in the first innings. On the first day of the match, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat.

Opener Mahmudul Hasan Joy scored the highest 30 runs for the team. Five batsmen of the team could not cross double figures. Opener Shadman Islam 0, Mominul Haq 4, Captain Nazmul Hasan Shanto 7, Mushfiqur Rahim 11, Liton Das 1 and Mehdi Hasan Miraj were dismissed after scoring 13 runs. Kagiso Rabada, Viaan Mulder and Keshav Maharaj took 3 wickets each.
