Kohli's eyes widen at the sky-scraping shot: Kohli, Rohit, dodging the follow-on, burst into glee; Jadeja gets off with a horse sticker in the bat; Moments

The pair of Jasprit Bumrah and Akash Deep saved India from the follow-on in the ongoing third Test against Australia in Brisbane. Both shared 39 runs for the last wicket.

Akashdeep avoided the follow-on by hitting four consecutive fours off Australian captain Pat Cummins. After this he also hit a six off Cummins. The reaction of the Indian dressing room to both these shots was worth watching. Coach Gautam Gambhir, Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma were jubilant.

1. There were two moments in the 75th over

Virat Kohli celebrated Gautam Gambhir by giving him a hi-fi.

Captain Cummins came to bowl in the 75th over of the Indian innings. Before this over, India needed just 4 runs to avoid the follow-on. On the very second ball from Cummins, Akash Deep played a cut shot and hit a four towards gully. After these four, Indian coach Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli present in the dressing room could not be overjoyed.

Both had a hifi celebration by clapping each other. After this, Kohli also gave Hi-Fi to Rohit.

On the fourth ball of the 75th over, Akash Deep hit Cummins for a six over midwicket. The ball went to the second floor of the stadium with a six in the sky on a full length ball. Seeing this six, Kohli present in the pavilion got up from his seat and came towards the window. Here he was looking at Six in wonder.

Akash Deep is unbeaten on 27 runs till stumps on the fourth day. With Bumrah (10*) he added 39 not out in 54 balls for the last wicket. The entire team gave the duo a standing ovation as they returned to the pavilion.

2. Life line to Rahul on the first ball of the day

Smith was batting on 33 when he dropped the catch of KL Rahul.

KL Rahul got a lifeline on the first ball of the fourth day. A good length ball from Pat Cummins gets an extra bounce and is edged by Rahul. The ball goes to Smith standing at second slip. However, Smith was not ready and dropped the catch. Earlier, Josh Hazlewood was injured during practice. He did not enter the day's game.

Rahul scored the highest 84 runs in the first innings for India.

3. Smith dives and takes a one-handed catch from Rahul India lost their sixth wicket in the 43rd over. Here KL Rahul got out after scoring 84 runs. He was caught out by Steve Smith off the bowling of Nathan Lyon. Smith took the catch by diving. Here the partnership of 67 runs was broken.

4. Ravindra Jadeja came to play with a special bat

Ravindra Jadeja's bat had 'Marwari Stallion' written on it.

During the third match, Jadeja came to play with a special bat. When he came to bat, his bat had 'Marwari Stallion' written on it and a horse sticker. The Marwari stallion is a breed of horse from the Jodhpur region of Rajasthan. Jadeja is very fond of horses. Jadeja played an important innings of 77 runs off 123 balls in this match.

6. Kerry's diving catch

Siraj was caught by Alex Carey by diving.

In the 63rd over, wicketkeeper Alex Carey jumped to his right and took a brilliant catch off Starc. Here Siraj goes for a drive shot on a full length ball from Starc, but Carey takes a brilliant catch as the edge rings. Siraj got out after scoring 1 run.
