Koetzee fined, demerit points too: India disagreed with umpire's decision in fourth T20; Edwards-Mahmood was also fined

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has taken disciplinary action against South African fast bowler Gerald Coetzee. has reduced its match fee by 50%, while also giving one demerit point.

The 24-year-old Coetzee expressed his displeasure at the umpire's decision during the fourth T20 against India in Johannesburg on Friday, November 15. Because, in the 15th over of the Indian innings, the field umpire declared his ball wide.

Apart from Coetzee, the ICC has also fined Netherlands captain Scott Edwards and Oman fast bowler Sufyan Mahmood.

The referee also reprimanded After the incident, Coetzee admitted his mistake in front of the match referee and also accepted the punishment. This has also earned him an official reprimand. The Indian team won this match by 135 runs and won the 4-match T-30 series 3-1.
