Former South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis is against the impact player rule in the SA20 league. He does not want this rule to be introduced in this league.
Speaking to the media ahead of the third season of the SA20, league ambassador Jacques Kallis said, 'I don't like the impact player rule because I think it reduces the chances of all-rounders. We are trying to develop an all-rounder in South Africa and this rule diminishes that role. So I don't want to see him in SA20.'

First match between Sunrisers and MI Cape Town on 9 January The third season of South Africa's franchise league SA20 will begin on January 9 next year. The first match will be between 2-time champions Sunrisers Eastern Cape and MI Cape Town at St George's Park in Cabara. While the league final will be held on February 8 at Wanderers.
The tournament playoffs will be played at three venues After the group stage, the top two teams will play Qualifier-1. The team that wins this match will reach the finals. The match will be played at St. George's Park. An eliminator match will be played between the third and fourth placed teams. The winning team of this eliminator match will face the losing team of Qualifier-1 in Qualifier-2. Both these matches will be played at Centurion.
