The Women's Selection Committee has announced the Indian Women's squad for the tour of Australia. Opener Shefali Verma has been dropped from the team due to poor form in the three-match ODI series. The tour of the Indian women's team will begin from December 5.
Harleen Deol has returned to the ODI team after almost a year. Richa Ghosh, who missed the home series against New Zealand due to her board exams, has also been brought into the squad. The names of Priya Punia, leg-spinner Minnu Mani and fast bowler Titus Sadhu are included in the 16-member squad. The team will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur.
Shefali Verma's name is not in the squad Opener Shefali Verma has not been selected in the squad for the Australia tour. The reason for which is his poor performance in the last series. Shefali scored 56 runs in 3 ODIs against New Zealand. Apart from this, for the tour of Australia, India has selected almost the same team for the New Zealand series which was seen playing in the home ODI series against New Zealand.

Harleen returned to the team Harleen Deol is back on tour after almost a year. All-rounder Harlin played his last ODI for India against Australia in Mumbai in December last year. He has scored 207 runs in 10 ODIs. Harlin is also known for his fielding.

First match on 5th December The first two matches of the ODI series between India and Australia will be played on December 5 and 8 at the Allan Border Ground in Brisbane. The third and final match of the series will be played in Perth on December 11.
