India record second biggest ODI win in Vadodara: beat West Indies Women by 211 runs; The team's star batsman Mandhana scored his fourth consecutive fifty

India registered their second biggest win on Sunday in the first match of the India vs West Indies women's ODI series.

The Indian women's team defeated the West Indies by 211 runs at the new stadium Kotambi in Vadodara. After losing the toss, the Indian team came to bat with the help of Smriti Mandhana's 91 runs and scored 314 runs by losing 9 wickets.

In reply, the Caribbean women's team was bowled out for 103 runs in 26.2 overs. 7 batters of the team could not even touch double figures. Renuka Singh took 5 wickets from India. Mandhana scored his fourth consecutive half-century in Vadodara on Sunday. Apart from that, Harleen Deol scored 44 runs in 50 balls and Richa Ghosh scored 26 runs in 12 balls.

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur played an innings of 34 runs off 23 balls. Jayda James took 5 wickets from West Indies. In this match, the Indian team came to play wearing their new ODI jersey.

Added 110 runs for the first wicket Vice-captain Smriti Mandhana shared a 110-run partnership for the first wicket with debutant Pratika Rawal (40 off 69). Mandhana was supported by Harmanpreet Kaur, Harleen Deol, Richa Ghosh and Jemimah Rodrigues (31 runs) in the middle order, with the help of which India's score crossed 300.

After dropping hard-hitting batsman Shefali Verma, India tried several batsmen to open with Mandhana and Delhi cricketer Prateika's turn on Sunday, batting at a strike rate of 57.97.

Harlin scored 44 runs in 50 balls with the help of 2 fours and 1 six.

Pratika Rawal scored 40 runs on debut.

Mandhana scored 91 runs Mandhana hit brilliant cover drives and pull shots throughout the innings. Mandhana hit 13 fours in an innings of 91 runs. Captain Harmanpreet and Richa batted fast. Left arm spinner Jayda James bowled brilliantly for West Indies. He took five wickets for 45 runs in eight overs. India scored just 20 runs in the death over and James took three wickets in the final over.

Renuka Singh took 5 wickets Chasing a target of 315 runs, the West Indies women's team had a bad start. The team lost 5 wickets in just 26 runs. The team could not understand the bowling of the swing bowler Renuka Singh. Renuka sent 5 batters to the pavilion for just 29 runs in 10 overs. He was selected player of the match.

Renuka dismissed captain Hayley Mathews for zero runs, WPL 2025 Most Expensive Foreign Player Diandra Dottin for 8 runs, Shaman Campbell for 21 runs, Alia Alay for 13 runs and Shabika Ghazanbi for 3 runs. Apart from Renuka, Priya Mishra took 2 wickets and Deepti Sharma took 1 wicket.

Fletcher scored the most runs for the team. He played an unbeaten innings of 24 runs off 22 balls. Fletcher hit 3 fours in the innings.
